SUPPORT GROUPS
At one time or another, we all experience the loss of a family member or a friend. As believers, it is normal that our faith and our feelings may be tested and stretched during this experience. The Grief Support group was created to provide for those who have suffered any loss in their lives and to provide a chance for them to become part of a sharing and caring group. This ministry is not active on a scheduled basis, however anyone who has a need for this ministry should contact the Parish Office.
Alcoholic's Anonymous
Currently there are three groups which meet at St. Robert's using the church hall. A Wednesday morning discussion group at 7 AM 7:45 AM, Friday evening, Open Meeting at 8:00 PM, and a Sunday evening, Step Meeting at 7:00 PM. For more information, please contact the Parish Office.
Narcotic's Anonymous
This group generally meets Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM either in the sacristy or the church hall. For more information, please contact the Parish Office.
EMERGENCY FOOD NETWORK
Our Parish maintains a Food Closet and
distributes food for the needy within the town. The Closet is managed by a
group of volunteers and is open on Thursdays from 10 noon.
Donations to the Closet can be made daily by leaving unperishable items in the baskets in the foyer of the church. If you are an organization that would like to donate a large amount of stock, please call the Parish Office.
Volunteers to work at the Food Closet are always welcome.
Please contact (401) 2325600.
